Launching my inaugural business back in 2006, its growth exceeded my wildest expectations. Despite lacking the conventional education typical of bookkeepers, accountants, or business proprietors, I embarked on a journey from bookkeeping to accounting. This voyage saw me collaborating with tax attorneys and CPA firms. It was during this time that I developed a profound fascination with the intricate processes of VC-backed startups and software as a service—ultimately becoming the cornerstone of my business.

As my venture flourished, a surge in referrals prompted the expansion of my team through hiring talented employees. In 2020, amidst three acquisition offers, I chose the final one aligning perfectly with my vision for the future of both my team and clients.

Driven by a profound passion for accounting and entrepreneurship, I established Glass Wallet Ventures. It serves as a conduit for my expertise while fostering connections among my clients, facilitating their journey toward accomplishing their aspirations.

Why I do What I do

I established a seven-figure mobile office and bookkeeping business, achieving this milestone without the conventional training of a business owner. The process of building, scaling, and ultimately selling a business involves intricate workings and multifaceted components—an understanding I gained only when fully immersed in the thick of it all.

As my business expanded, an influx of referrals led me to assemble a dedicated team, navigating restructuring and multiple hiring trials to accommodate the increasing demand. Amidst this growth, three acquisition offers materialized seemingly out of the blue.

Opting out of two offers, I settled on the third, believing it aligned with my business goals. However, upon deeper consideration, I realized I wasn’t prepared to assume the role of co-founder and employee, leading to my departure from the company just six months later.

Upon introspection, I discovered my inherent joy in advising clients and guiding them through their due diligence processes. This realization prompted the creation of a new venture aimed at leveraging my expertise and fostering connections among clients. It’s been a journey fueled by passion, continuous growth, and invaluable learning experiences.
